21 Day List Building Challenge – Day 7 – Autoresponder Messages

Before we go much further, we need to set up some autoresponder messages. Right now if people sign-up for your email list, they will only receive one message and that is your free gift. Some people only go this far, but you want to stay in touch with your readers and potential clients.

There are a couple of different ways that you can set this up.

Method 1 – RSS to Email Autoresponder Messages

This method is very simple to set up and manage. You can set this up to send an email whenever you write a new blog post or on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Keep in mind that you will need to write content in your blog for this to work very effectively. Here is an excellent video that demonstrates how to set up RSS to Email Messages.

Method 2 – Newsletter Autoresponder Messages

This method allows you to set-up ongoing messages to go out whenever you like. Here is an excellent video that demonstrates how to set up.

 

It is an excellent idea to include “forward to a friend” and “share” links in newsletters and promos
This is the best way to encourage subscribers to share your newsletter content, offers, and articles
with friends and on social media sites. “Word of mouth” is a powerful viral technique that works
great with email marketing! If subscribers find your content useful and informative, they’ll pass it on,
multiplying your readers and hopefully your sign-ups! It’s a powerful source of new subscribers –
achieved with minimal effort.
